Throughout her time with Extension, Annie oversaw departmental areas such as financial assistance, petitions/formal grievances, academic and non-academic misconduct, and student disability accommodations.
Annie DeLoach Case Coordinator, joined the AI Office staff in August 2019 but has worked at UC San Diego for almost 12 years, starting in the Extended Studies (“Extension”) department as a part-time student staff. There, among other things, she championed academic integrity initiatives, developed and ran student workshops and faculty development sessions, and oversaw the Disability Access Office and tutoring programs. As the Senior Education Coordinator, Allison provides work direction to our two Education Coordinators, leads the AIO's education efforts, teaches in our AI Training programs, meets with struggling students, and conducts preventative outreach and education with undergraduate and graduate students. For the past five years, Allison has been a faculty member teaching English Composition and the Director of The Center for Academic and Student Success at NewSchool of Architecture and Design. As an instructor, she has developed curriculum for and taught English to speakers of other languages in a wide variety of settings including the English Language Institute at UCSD Extension, Cuyamaca College and MiraCosta College.
